How DTF works
DTF involves printing your design in full color onto a special film, applying an adhesive powder, curing it, and then heat pressing the finished transfer onto the garment. Because the design is printed rather than cut, there is no weeding step, which means intricate artwork, gradients, and photographic detail are all possible.
What DTF is best for
DTF works on a very wide range of fabrics, including cotton, polyester, blends, and performance materials that other methods struggle with. It also excels at decorating locations that are difficult to reach with other equipment.
Common uses include inside-neck printed tags, sleeve logos, full color hat logos, polos, bags, swimwear, sweatbands, and jackets. If you have a multi-color logo and a small quantity, DTF is very often the most economical choice.

Artwork requirements
DTF logos should be provided in a high quality file. We recommend a vector AI, EPS, or PDF, or a transparent PNG at 300dpi and 12 inches wide or equivalent to your print width. If you are unsure, send us what you have and we will let you know whether the graphic is approved or if we need a different format or size. If the file does not exist in the format needed, our graphic design team can produce the assets required to move the project forward.
