Custom Embroidery in Miami
Miami Promos provides custom embroidery for polos, hats, jackets, bags, and corporate uniforms throughout Miami-Dade and nationwide. Embroidery is widely seen as the most premium decoration method, giving your logo a textured, professional finish that holds up for years.
How embroidery works
Embroidery is the process of sewing in a specific pattern to produce an image on a garment. Cost depends heavily on the number of stitches your logo requires. Our machines commonly run 500-800 stitches per minute, so a typical hat or polo logo at around 7,000 stitches takes close to 10 minutes per piece to produce.
Digitizing
Before we can embroider your logo, it has to be digitized. This means our team takes your artwork into our software and creates the instruction set that tells the machine exactly how to sew it. Digitizing is a one-time fee. Once your logo is digitized, we can use it again and again, adjust the size, and fine-tune settings like stitch density, stitch type, stitch length, and stitch angle.
Thread colors and color matching
Embroidery thread is manufactured in roughly 400 colors, so exact Pantone matching is not always guaranteed, but we can usually get a very close shade. For the highest consistency across embroidered and screen printed pieces in the same project, we recommend choosing your thread color first, then using the Pantone associated with that thread.
Specialty threads are available. Metallic thread comes in gold, silver, bronze, and about 15 other colors. Variegated thread is dyed in a repeating pattern of multiple colors, which can give larger fill areas a textured, multi-color look. On thinner stitch areas variegated thread can produce a barber pole effect, so we test in advance before starting a production run.

Production capacity and turnaround
Production capacity varies with logo size and stitch count, but a single 6-head machine produces around 20-30 pieces per hour once threads are loaded and the logo sample is approved. Most orders can be completed in one day, though larger 500-piece runs can take several days. Standard turnaround for embroidery is 7-14 days depending on demand.

Our embroidery minimum is 12 pieces.
Artwork requirements
Because we digitize your logo, embroidery does not require extremely high resolution artwork. We prefer vector AI, EPS, or PDF files when available, but a simple JPG or PNG works fine too. Higher quality is always better, and our team will let you know if a file has insufficient quality to work with.
